Perugia (PG) - "Friends of the Charter, Telling the world through picture book for children" is the title of the new exhibition area set up inside the exhibition HOUSE MUSEUM PALACE Sorbello in the square Piccinino 9.
Illustrated books of the 1800s and 1900s, rich text and images that work together in an innovative, capable of arousing emotions, stimulate curiosity and imagination, will be exhibited alongside contemporary issues, accompanied by new works by emerging illustrators. Their works were selected through a competition held on the occasion of this exhibition.
The new temporary section will be inaugurated on Saturday December 21 at 16.30 at the Ranieri di Sorbello Foundation, introduced by Claudia Pazzini, curator of the exhibition section, which will develop the theme of the illustrated book tracing the evolutionary history of this literary genre of the nineteenth century to the present day .
