Valtopina (PG) - A country in the countryside of Umbria, rich in tradition and rooted in its origins: this is the frame of the Palio of San Bernardino, an historic event which takes place from June 30 to July 6, 2014 in Valtopina.
The atmosphere evokes crafts, colors and flavors of the Middle Ages, culminating in the Historical Parade on Saturday evening where the 3 Castles Pasano, Poggio and Serra offer slices of life beautiful and realistic.
Set between 1380 and 1490, the prize is able to create a perfect balance between the strict historicity of the village and the sparkling light hearted combining large and small races under the colors of their castles.
