Gubbio (PG) - On May 6th the great ceri totems that will be borne in a frantic race uphill during the Festa dei Ceri on May 15th will be descending the mountain from the Basilica of St Ubaldo into Gubbio, in preparation for the major festivity. Until the day of the race the ceri will be kept in the Sala dell'Arengo of Palazzo dei Consoli.
At 8am there will be Holy Mass in the Basilica di Sant'Ubaldo, followed by the solemn descent down Monte Ingino, with arrival in Piazza Grande scheduled for around 10.30.
