Bettona (PG) - Bettona (PG). On May 11th and 12th Bettona will be celebrating its patron saint, St Crispolto bishop and martyr. At 9pm on the 11th there will be Holy Mass followed by a procession through the town's outlying streets and involving the penitent brotherhoods. Bettona and the surrounding villages will be lit only by torchlight. At 12 noon on the 12th there will be Mass once again, this time followed by a procession through the streets of the old town centre. At 5.30pm on the same afternoon in Piazza Cavour there will be a concert given by a series of young accordeon players, with at 7pm a lottery draw and at 9pm a performance of the vernacular play La ridiculosa historia de Pulcinella cornuto immaginario.
