The Papal Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels in Portiuncula, December 7 at 15.30, will inaugurate the traditional international exhibition of nativity scenes, as always distributed along the famous route of the memories of St. Francis, in the Sanctuary, and in the great Cloister Protoconvento of the Portiuncula. At the Museum of the Portiuncula instead held a group exhibition of prints and drawings - entitled "Cartulae Nataliciae" - dedicated to the Nativity of the Lord, and inspired by the cartula sent by St. Francis to Brother Leo in 1224.
The inauguration will take place December 7, 2013, at 15.30, in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, with an extraordinary concert of Fra 'Alessandro Brustenghi, and the Children's Choir "Octava Aurea" Città di Castello.
The exhibition of nativity scenes is open daily from 07.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 19.00. The museum is open daily (except Mondays) from 09.30 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 18.30.
