Acquasparta (TR) - From June 6th to 17th Acquasparta will be returning to its glorious Medieval past when it was one of the seats of the powerful Cesi family, in particular Federico Cesi II, Duke of Acquasparta and founder of the Accademia dei Lincei.
Over the course of the celebrations, the town will be divided into its traditional three districts, or contrade - Porta Vecchia, San Cristoforo and Ghetto.
Each year the inhabitants of Acquasparta stage a number of historical re-enactments, working for months on researching the various historical aspects and making the appropriate costumes.
