Orvieto (TR) - 25 ° CRIB IN THE WELL - Nativity underground with animated characters in size - from 23 December 2013-12 January 2014. Unique crib set in the picturesque grotto, of Etruscan origin, the Pozzo della Cava. The layout and theme, different each year, is carried out by experts of the special effects theater and film developing themes on the basis of a precise historical reconstruction of customs and traditions, mixing the sacred texts, myths and traditions.
The theme of "The Angel" is repeated every five years to mark important anniversaries with a crib completely renovated. The underground route is also home to some life-size dioramas with scenes from the life of Mary, with the accompaniment of the narrative voice of Miriam, Mary of the Nativity in the Well 25 °.
