Orvieto (TR) - 
Orvieto will accommodate 14 to 16 March BEST WINES Umbria, an event organized by Luca Maroni wine production that will reward the most deserving of a region that stretches for about eight thousand square kilometers.
At the center of the peninsula, framed between Lazio, Tuscany and Marche, despite its small size, Umbria is a land rich in natural beauty and gastronomic traditions.
With a surface area of ​​almost 13,000 hectares and an average size of wineries in little more than one hectare, the region attests to its wine production around 800 000 hectoliters.
Over twenty Wineries present at the Palazzo del Capitano in the three days of the event: during the evening of Friday, March 14, to reward some of the companies that stood out for the quality of production, will be Luca Maroni, who returned from a few days of the Cilento stage of The BEST Campania Paestum-WINE Wine Festival welcomed more than 300 visitors.
Friday 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday, March 16 the three days of the event opening to the public that will count among the featured companies, associated with the Consorzio di Tutela Vini Orvieto and Manufacturers Enoteca Regionale di Orvieto.
The Consortium will also star in Orvieto wine tasting led by Luca Maroni Saturday, March 15th at 18:00: an opportunity for the public to know the Doc Orvieto, one of the 15 names of the Region.
