Perugia (PG) - Off for the sixteenth edition, which will involve true connoisseurs of good living and good eating for 6 consecutive weekends, will be on November 1st. So many medieval villages of Umbria, their squares, their palaces, theaters, olive groves, mills, farms, farmhouses, taverns once again the attractions of this event which has as its undisputed protagonist of the 'Oil Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Umbria prestigious areas of the 5 'Umbria (Trasimeno hills, the hills of Orvieto, Amerini hills, the hills of Assisi and Spoleto and DOP Colli Martan) and quality food products.
There are many initiatives which will build on the 'extra virgin olive oil and turn on the' attention to the medieval villages high with olive groves with a calendar of activities dedicated to tasting and more. They are in fact scheduled free tours to the member cities, concerts and theater performances for adults and children, cooking schools, participate in the olive harvest and then again educational farms, trekking among the olive trees, popular music concerts, evenings of degus-tango in special places (oil tasting, wine and deccezionali products' Umbria to the sound of Tango), free shuttle service to the mills and the traditional commemoration of Frasca and bonfinita.
But Crusher Open is also synonymous with the opening of special places during the entire event are proposed thematic related to gastronomy, the olive trees, to theaters, to medieval castles, to the Romanesque churches, palaces.
