Foligno (Pg). This year’s edition of the Canti e Discanti world festival of Foligno will be back from July 8th to 28th with its rich programme of concerts, exhibitions, film showings, talks and tastings all cantered on spreading and deepening our knowledge of different cultures from across the globe. This year the festival will focus particularly on Turkey and the Salento region of southern Italy, with guest stars of the calibre of Margherita Hack, Ginevra Di Marco, Alessandro Mannarino, Malicanti, Vanessa Winship, George Georgiu, Massimo Liberatori, there Miserere singers from Colfiorito, the Annifo band and Paolo Capodacqua.
All events are free of charge with the exception of the encounter with Margherita Hack and Ginevra Di Marco (€ 10) and the exhibition of works by Vanessa Winship (€ 5).
