THE EXHIBITION OF SAINT MICHAEL - FRATTA TODINA from 'to 8' May 11, 2014
The Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, patron saint of the country, has very ancient origins: the ban dates back to 1600 and was Fratta granted to the community by the Bishop Angelo Cesi.
In 2000, the Fair, thanks to the work of the Proloco has been rediscovered and revived and focuses on the EXHIBITION of artistic and TYPICAL LOCAL PRODUCTS means of which protect and promote the marketing peculiarities.
This year's festival is the 13th edition and will take place in the day Sunday, May 11th in the streets, in the squares and in the cellars of the Old Town. You can admire, among the more than 60 exhibitors, square-worked needlepoint, lace, embroidery, paintings, wrought iron work, ceramics, decoupage, pottery, wood carving and painting exhibitions; you can taste and buy walnuts, hazelnuts, legumes, vegetables and preserves, bread, honey, meats, cheeses, wine and oil of our hills. Thursday, May 8th at 20:30 at the Sports Area Green Spineta Soccer will play a Trinagolare between Contradas Fratta Todina and, subsequently, a salsicciata Under the Stars.
The evening of Friday, May 9 will be dedicated to "Games Potti them." The children of the 4 districts of Fratta Todina will compete in the historic center of the ancient games of skill and in the 5th Edition of the Palietto of the Towers. At 21:30 in the Old Town Racing Brisk.

The highlight of the evening will be to Saturday 1 May 1. Pm 20.30 in Old Town you are all invited to "The TASTE OF THE ANCIENT CASTLE - DINNERS ON THE STREETS THE VILLAGE SCENE WITH MUSIC AND MEDIEVAL " In the light of torches tavern costume will offer you in the streets and squares of the Castle of Fratta Todina a menu of traditional flavors and dishes of Umbrian. Among the events that will take place Sunday, May 11, more than at the 13th EXHIBITION of artistic and TYPICAL LOCAL PRODUCTS, we want to point out in particular at 17.00 THE HISTORICAL PROCESSION with over 150 people in costume who will still have as its protagonist, this year, ARM FORTEBRACCIO, Captain Ventura is so closely linked to the history of our country.
Arm after having wintered with his soldiers to "Fratticiuola Todi", before embarking on new ventures chasing the dream of returning winner in Perugia, he invited to his castle representatives of the noble families of Umbria, to celebrate the arrival of the spring. For a moment he abandoned weapons and allowed himself a moment of rest, and will provide the residents of the county the performance of flag-waving and Musicians Grutti and Group Tamburini City of Marsciano that accompany the historical procession.
After the Corteo Storico, to entertain his guests again this year organized a large arm Fortinbras duel between the districts of his castle: the
6th Palio delle Torri to be attended, in addition to 2 Contradas Fratta Todina, even teams representing the neighbors municipalities of Monte Castello di Vibius and Marsciano ...
