Orvieto (TR) - Celebrations of CORPUS CHRISTI - Jubilee extraordinary Eucharistic 2013-2014
One Bread, one Body. From the center to the outskirts of the existence
This year's event aims to enhance, deepen and promote documentary works and meetings that can foster a reflection on the outskirts of existence, on the fringe areas of society and reality "invisible". The meetings on the bill will range from movies, to art, from literature to music to fuel even more the atmosphere that reigns over the city Jubilee of the Cathedral, where it will find its climax with the closing of the Holy Door of the month of November.
After the Eucharistic miracle, which took place in the nearby town of Bolsena, was established and proclaimed "urbi et orbi", the Feast of Corpus Christi
(Year 1264). Even today in the Cathedral of Orvieto is preserved the relic of the miracle.
The Festival, founded in 2005, was attended by celebrities, writers, critics and artists of national and international fame from the world of art and faith.
