Montefalco (PG) - Like a number of other important wine producing towns across Umbria, Montefalco will be taking part in this year's edition of Cantine Aperte - which celebrates its 20th anniversary on May 27th. The perfect opportunity for treating yourself to a short but tasty holiday in the magnificent Umbrian May countryside, with visits to wineries, tasting sessions and all kinds of other attractions.
Last year's edition of Cantine Aperte attracted over a million tourists throughout Italy. The slogan of this year's edition is "Vedi cosa bevi" - see what you drink. Wineries will in fact be showing off the pride of their production in a succession of activities ranging from walks through vineyards to tastings of typical local produce, live music and more.
