Assisi (PG) - A festival that enriches and brings in "dialogue."
Assisi is preparing the first edition of "ASSISI: PAX MUNDI", an international festival of Sacred Music Franciscan to be held in October, after the feast of St. Francis, at the Assisi Franciscan sites. The event is sponsored and organized by the Franciscan Family in collaboration with the Choir of the Basilica of St. Francis. A non-competitive event in which they can participate in both choral and instrumental groups in any country and nation.
The event will take place October 16 to 19, 2014, with concerts that will take place at different times of the day in places Franciscans of Assisi and the surrounding area. The event will conclude with a solemn Mass in the Upper Basilica of San Francesco and the execution of the Canticle of the square of the same, with the participation of all the choirs and instrumental groups.
