Assisi (PG) - Assisi (Pg). On August 11th Assisi will be commemorating the feast day of one of its patron saints, St Claire, with a number of religious and secular festivities. At 10.40am there will be the procession of secular authorities and the entrance into the Basilica of St Claires, followed by Eucharist Mass and the offering of votive candles from the mayor. In the evening there will be a torchlit procession following the bust of St Rufino into the Basilica of San Rufino, followed by a blessing imparted to the entire city.
