Assisi (PG) - The XIX International Congress of the Association Internationale d'Etudes et Médico-psychologiques Religieuses (AIEMPR) on the theme "Beyond identity. Polifonie, different humanity," will be held July 23 to 27, 2013, at the Citadel of Assisi. Assisi, a symbol of both the European and Mediterranean civilization is today's inter-religious dialogue and inter-cultural heritage not only of Umbria, the region Tiberina, or Italy, but for all humanity: the Consortium was Tiberina invited to provide input into the program.
The theme this year will not only deepen the scientific aspects of identity, but go beyond this notion too often used, also in political terms, to create social divisions and cultural misunderstandings, emphasizing the importance of the recognition of cultural diversity. It will therefore reflect on the wealth of encounter and dialogue, on the processes of change and cultural creativity, which are essential for individual and collective growth and civil society. From this point of view, the Consortium Tiberina can not - so to speak - that being at home (beyond the site of the Congress), having always been focused on a form of cohesion open, sustainable and inclusive growth, based on constructive cooperation and dialogue, both towards the inside of the region Tiberina both outwards.
