The exhibition entitled "Il Prestigio dell'Oro", featuring a remarkable collection of Etruscan and Roman pieces of jewellery largely unearthed in digs around Perugia and in Umbria, will run at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale dell'Umbria until July 31st. Among the highlights is a crown of gold olive leaves, on show for the first time at this museum, which dates from the 4th century BC and was discovered in Perugia in the early 20th century. Read more

A series of evening walks have been scheduled from June 13th to August 22nd with the idea of offering visitors a chance to enjoy the spectacular sunsets over Lake Trasimene from the surrounding hills and olive groves.
