Following in the Footsteps of St Francis - the Formina Acqueduct and the Sacro Speco Monastery Narni (TR) - Narni (TR). The series of walks following in the footsteps of St Francis continue every Saturday and Sunday with guided tours conducted by NarniSotterranea along the Ancient Roman Formina acqueduct, which St Francis crossed on his way into the mountains around the village of Sant'Urbano. The cave into which the saint withdrew in prayer was later to become the site for the founding of the magnificent Sacro Speco monastery.
