Promoted and organised by the Civitella d’Arna and Ripa Pro Loco, on April 24th and on May 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th at 2.30pm in Civitella d’Arna a series of workshops will begin, conducted by elderly members of the local community and focussing on the many forgotten manual tasks that were once essential for ensuring the self-sufficiency of local peasant families. The festival was founded in 1982 by ballet teacher and choreographer Renato Fiumicelli initially as an itinerant event. It has since adopted Gubbio as its fixed venue.
